Property developments are managed across a number of separate systems and spreadsheets. To date, no software has been designed to handle the full spectrum of a project.

Development managers largely operate in Estate Master and/or Excel, while accounts use Xero or MYOB.

Actual costs are entered into the cash flow retrospectively, after they have been through an isolated approval and payment process. This means the cash flow is never current and no one has a holistic, up to date view of the project.

As the development manager has no purpose-built software for tracking approvals and expenditure, cost control drifts to the accounting team, creating an endless cycle of reconciliation.

We spent twelve months examining this problem and reached a clear conclusion. Invoice approval cannot sit outside the cash flow model. To achieve a single, live source of truth, invoices must flow into the system, be approved, and then sync with the accounting software.

Built in collaboration with experienced Australian developers and founded in Melbourne by a former development manager, Analytica restores structure and control to the development lifecycle.
